New Orleans Saints -
A. Be Yourself. Throw the ball a lot. The 49er DB's struggled with the Seahawks in week 1 so go right at them. Let Drew Brees do Drew Brees.
B. Turnovers. Alex Smith had a shaky week 1 to say the least. Capitalize on the mistakes of this 49er QB and Offense.
C. Big Plays. Go for a few "Homerun" type big plays early. Take the San Francisco crowd out of it early and Alex Smith will turn the ball over if playing from behind.
San Francisco 49ers -
A. Score in the Redzone. The 49ers offense moved the ball well early last week and Alex Smith even connected early with his WR's. They could not put it in the end zone. They will need points early and often to win.
B. Slow Down Drew. You can't stop the New Orleans Saints. You try to slow them down. The best way to do that is keep him on the sidelines. Get off the field on 3rd downs. Don't give up that big play and give your offense chances to Win the game for you.
C. In Alex we Trust, Kind of. Boost Alex Smith's confidence. Tell him he's your man and you don't want it any other way. Coach Singletary you might be lying, but be convincing. If Alex Smith is ever going to make it in this League it has to be this season and it has to be tonight. He played bad last week. Put it in the past and hope he make some plays for your team.
I will not pick a winner for this game. For the credibility of this Blog I will just sit back and enjoy. If the 49ers some how win this game it will be an amazing turn of events after what we saw last weekend. If the Saints beat up the 49ers then a lot of grown men may cry tonight in San Francisco. Or SLC. Don't pass judgement. We're all allowed a good cry every now and again.
Stay Good - Chasey T
