Chasey T's Fantasy Fix

Weekly I'm going to update on what I think are smart moves, sleepers, and players to drop in Fantasy Football. Now that Week 1 is over Fantasy is in full swing. Let's go down the list on some things that caught my eye in week 1.

-Peyton Manning is still Peyton Manning. Even as the Colts lost a opener to the Texans that surprised many people Peyton Manning had an outstanding day. Drew Brees and Tom Brady are great, but Peyton Manning is the man when it come to QB's in the Fantasy World.

-Alex Smith is not the sleeper some hoped for. Including myself. Many publications have him as a "breakout" player of the year, but they seem to be wrong. Smith and the 49er WR's never seemed on the same page and he was shutout of the end zone. Also added 2 Int's. Hold on to him for a week or two, but don't be afraid to drop him to make room for another.

-Arian Foster is the BREAKOUT player this year. Luckily for me I'm not just good looks. I'm smart as well. I took Foster early in 3 Leagues and started him in each of them. I was 3-0 this weekend. Yes I'm in 3 Fantasy leagues and I'm very proud of that. I'd like to thank Arian Foster for being the MAN and myself for being incredibly right. If you have Arian Foster play him EVERY week. Ride him all year long. He shouldn't disappoint.

"Disappointment of the Week" - Shonn Greene. The Jets RB Fumbled and didn't get another touch after. The Jets didn't "Ground and Pound" like they said they would and Hard Knocks. It cost them the game.

"Surprise of the Week" - Seattle Seahawks Defense. The Seahawks Defense shutdown San Francisco and forced 2 Turnovers with a Defensive TD as well. How much of it was the lack of rhythm by the 49ers we shall see. Keep an eye on the SeahawksDefense if available in your league.

"Pickup of the Week" - Brandon Jackon. Ryan Grant is now officially out for the season in Green Bay and Brandon Jackson is the beneficiary. Brandon Jackson is a talented RB and could be the starter on some teams. He is now the Full-Time RB and I expect him to make the most of it starting this week. If he is available in your league, which he probably is, Pickem Up!

Good Luck in week 2 and You're Welcome - Chasey T
