Goodbye, You Might Be Missed

Where do I begin? I'm speechless. I have a lot to say, but don't know how to say it. You said a lot of things you didn't mean, but deep down I know you meant them. Our time together had ups and downs. How did it come to this? How did we even make it this far? One thing is for sure, I won't look back. Our time together felt tainted and forced. I don't deserve that and you should move forward. You played nice and smiled in front of others, but we both knew it wasn't working. I should of traded you in for someone better. That would of been the safe thing to do. I stayed around and hoped you would produce and make me happy. I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt when most would not. You said I was your first choice, but at the first call of another who came courting you left me. Left me for what you thought was a more attractive situation. I won't fault you for that, but you are wrong. I will be better off and you will struggle. You won't be the same person there that you were here with me. In a way things worked out for the better I hope. You left me and I went out and traded up. Now the future is bright in my eyes and you are left behind. I'm glad you left. I'm happy now and have someone new. Someone who wants me back and is excited to be here. I will leave you with that. I hope your happy with your choice. So far I am.
